This is a video for the East West Quantum Leaps competion and is made by Zennor Alexander. I recently finished producing the new cd from the Mandolin Orchestra "Het Consort". Information will be soon available on their website. Website of Goon World is now in the air. For this massive game project from Nemesis Studios LLC, I am the Lead Audio Designer. June Email update! Due to some problems with sending mails from my old e-mail I changed my email to: info@jaapvisser.com Bloodstone: The journey home is released! I recently joined BGIn and I will be attending the Free Gaming Business in Rotterdam at the 21th of June May New Demo Reel available: http://www.jaapvisser.com/DemoReel.html April General update (update 23-04) Time for an update. I have finished and am about to fnish a few projects: The music for Bloodstone: The Journey home is done. This Half life 2 mod is going to be released soon. I have finised working on some music for Rage of War: Galactic Dream from Evolution Vault. This game found a publisher and is going retail very soon. Furthermore I can also announce that I am working also on the new project Soul of the World from Evolution Vault.
Also the movie and the sound design for the movie Continua is as good as done. Keep an eye out for this great movie! Website and music(update 02-04) My previous page called Samples has been changed in Music. This page now contains a new flash player and it should be easier to navigate through the different types of music. Also a few new songs have been added. March Website (update 18-03) A Dutch version of the website has been launched. At the moment I only sell royalty free music. 20 songs are now available for purchace. General (update 03-03) It has been a while since the last update. I am proud to announce a few new projects. Proud Music Library is going to host 20 of my compositions. More info will follow soon I am working as composer for the Half-Life 2 mod: Bloodstone: The Journey home by Greenhorn Productions: The game has been featured in the PC Gamer UK from March 2008. More info about the game at: http://www.bloodstone-thejourneyhome.com/news.php Furthermore I am proud to announce that I have start working as composer/sound designer on the movie Continua from Westbound Films I am working as composer and producer for a cd of Matthew Bora and I am composing and doing the sound effects for the new logo of Radiant Pictures Entertainment. More information will follow later. I am going to work as orchestrator on a song of a fantastic new project from Droomwevers I have recently finished an orchestration project for a dutch male choir the Dierens Mannenkoor This choir is celebrating its 40th anniversary. For this anniversary I have made orchestrations for choir and orchestra from Strangers in the Night, Chanson d'Amour and Bridge over troubled water. January Website (update 23-01) I have changed the Music page and added a new page for Videos. The Samples page contains now music players and are categorised by categories such as Action, Emotional, Mysterious, World and Live Music. New music has been added such as an excerpt from the movies Devil's Intension and Roses are Greek, also other new songs can be found in the music players. The video's page has now also the first impression of the video "Roses are Greek" from Katie Flynn. Music (update 16-01) Again a few new tracks have been added to the music page: Battle Drums (extracted from the Battlestar Galactica video), Heroic, Trio and Sorrow Music 2 new compositions have been added to the sample page called Deus ex Machina and Twilight Also a new video has been added: Battlestar Galactica Battle Scenes: Music made by 2 short excerpts from battle scenes from the serie Battlestar Galactica. This piece was made as assignment to show some up tempo battle music. The video can be found at the Music Page Most of the mp3 samples on the music page have been remixed. The music for the movie Roses are Greek from Katie Flynn is finished and the movie will be available soon on my website. Demo Reel I have finished my Demo Reel. This contains 11 excerpts from a variety of music I have made. You can find the demo reel on the sample page or click here Movie I am working at the moment on the movie Roses are Greek. A new video has been added to my sample page The composition is called Never Been Lucky: A composition made for the 12th CGempire composing contest. The animation is made by Ilias Sounas. December Music update A small new piece called Sidhe has been added to the sample page. A new section with older live recordings has been added as link on the sample page. It mainly contains some older recordings that were made during my study, but they give a good insight of my composing activities during that period. November 2007 Hellenthal Studios Hellenthal Studios asked me if I could compose a theme for their forthcoming leader. Webshop Recently I have opened my new webshop Here you will find the option to buy compositions, arrangements, jingles, soundFX and music and sound packs for games and movies. At the moment the webshop is still under construction and not every content is published yet. Stay tuned for further updates. Film Devil’s Intentions is the new short film from the Pakistan film director Shaheryar Ahmed. At the moment I am working on a score for this film that will be released at the 10th of December. More info will follow soon Games ------------ Eponasoft – a 2 hour music score will be provided in the next 2 years for a later to be announced RPG for Nintendo. ------------ Goon World is going to be a new MMO from the newly formed studio Nemesis Studios with veterans from within the game industry. ------------ Judgment of the Jedi is a mod for Universe at War: Earth Assault. ------------ Team Chaos is developing a new game called The Gate ------------ Evolution_Reality is a newly formed group of designers in Signapore and is working on a game that is going to be announced soon. ------------ Mech Warfare Co-op is a nice game which is created by a team of enthousiastic members.
